INTEREST GROUPS

Even in the commercial world, there are many sectors of business. As a way to harbor valuable skillsets and productive hobbies, we've established several interest groups within our chapter for Brothers who are interested in industry-related specialties. These interest groups are led by Brothers for Brothers to mutually instill passion in these skillsets and eventually carry it into their careers and everyday lives.

PI CHI INVESTMENT CLUB

Stock investing and trading has gone beyond a just a hobby for high-income adults. Investing has become a prominent interest among young adults who wish to establish a diverse portfolio to attain a source of passive income, make dimes out of their pennies, or even those who dream of becoming the next Warren Buffett.

Established in Winter of 2020 and led by Brother Omar Shallan, Pi Chi Investment Club is comprised of both experienced and novice investors who meet once a week during the school year to gain financial literacy and spark conversations about the current stock market.

DATA BROS

Data analysis is projected to be one of the most in-demand skills in the next decade. The ability to crunch numbers and make sense out of quantitative data is relevant as ever. Machine learning and big data play a big role in modern businesses and as such, data analytics is growing to become a prominent force in the world of business and tech.

Also established in Winter of 2020, Brother Shravani Kasralikar leads Brothers both knowledgeable and curious about advancing their data analytic skills in weekly meetings during the school year to learn about data mining and work on small-sided data projects.
