“To further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community”. These are the last words of our purpose, and they are words that I take to heart. Community Service is a core pillar of our fraternity, and it is an honor to be able to apply them in Santa Cruz. Over the last year, we have put over 100 hours into weekly projects at the Homeless Garden Project as well as annual runs in Campbell. Currently, we have plans to explore other philanthropic events. As a fraternity, we care deeply about our impact on the spaces around us. That is why in the coming years, I hope to see us increase our presence on both the UCSC campus and the county of Santa Cruz. At Pi Chi, the world is our brotherhood.
